MEET AMY

Personal care,
built around you.

I’m Amy O’Halloran, the osteopath behind Silsden Osteopathy. I opened the practice in 2014 after completing my Master of Osteopathy degree.

My approach is personal and considered. I take time to listen, understand what is affecting you and tailor your care around you, your lifestyle and your goals.

A PERSONAL APPROACH

Care that starts with listening.

Every person is different, so I start by listening. I take time to understand what you’re experiencing, how it affects everyday life and what you want to get back to doing.

From there, I adapt assessment and treatment around you, with clear explanations and practical guidance so you understand your care and the next steps.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Movement has always been part of my life.

I’ve always had a personal connection with sport and movement. I previously competed in road racing and cyclocross and worked at high-profile international stage races with a Tour de France cycling team.

I’ve also competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting, winning regional competitions and representing Team Yorkshire, as well as taking part in rowing and rugby.

That background has given me first-hand experience of training, performance and the physical demands sport can place on the body, which helps me understand people who want to remain active.

WHO I HELP

Osteopathic care for everyday life.

I’m passionate about osteopathy and caring for people of different ages and backgrounds, from active people to those dealing with everyday aches, discomfort or reduced movement.

Whatever brings you to the clinic, my aim is to provide a respectful environment where you feel listened to and involved in your care.
